Arleen Paré grew up in Montreal and now lives in Victoria. In Vancouver she raised two sons and worked for twenty years in the social services bureaucracy. “Paper Trail” is a excerpt from a book-length manuscript based on that experience. Her work has been published in the anthologies Emerge and The Shadbolts.
