Last night at the Old Firehall: Rip! A Remix Manifesto. It's the sexiest movie yet screened here. A documentary about copyright and patents, which I expected to be terribly depressing, but it turned out to be a big party on the movie screen.
Main focus of the film is Girl Talk. Girl talk does song mash-ups, like Hold Up. According to the documentary, if Girl Talk were to pay to for all the songs he mashes, it would cost him about 4 million dollars to put out one album.
