  • There's nudes in National

There's nudes in National Geographic? Where, which ones?

  • I hope the [presumed]

I hope the [presumed] offended parents and youths, don't wander through any museums or art galleries or peruse any issue of National Geographic. They are all filled with naked bums! This is not a book meant for children and not prominently displayed in children's areas. We are becoming a society so afraid of offending, that we ban books based on"what if...?" Would we deny our children the opportunity to experience history and culture to protect them from something that is right behind all of us everyday?

  • Hrmph. I've got two young

Hrmph. I've got two young kids and if there's one thing they're not shocked by, it's nekkid bums. In fact, any excuse to strip down and parade 'em around is the prevailing attitude from what I see.

  • Count me as 'among others'.

Count me as 'among others'. I'm a writer. Gay. A fairy of the ferries.

We children were 'seen and not heard' in our day.
Apparently now? Children should be 'seen and herded'. Just look at what B.C. Ferries has done to the children's play area. They have plonked a t.v. in among the plastic forms.

I still laugh at how it took B.C. Ferries years to figure out: "B.C. Ferries - Cruising the Straights".
