travelling with kids

Yeah, well so much for educating your kids by taking them travelling when they are young! But it did make you into a better writer than you would have been without all that reading in the back seat while we tried to figure out the map of Montreal....which way IS up Becky?

A Tale of Two Cities

People tend to think of Montreal as a freewheeling (no pun intended) party town and Vancouver as "no-fun city" -- so it's interesting that goofing around on your bike is prohibited in the former but not the latter. We can turn right at a red light, too! Now that's partying.

Does the phrase centre around, as in “the conversation centred around issues of freedom,” bug anyone but me? A centre is a fixed spot, and other stuff moves around it, right?
