Geist and Tightrope Books present: The Art of the Short Review

A hands-on work­shop for any­one who wants to write what they think — in a few strong sen­tences. This work­shop will be valu­able to those who want to write reviews, but the same tech­niques can be used for clear, suc­cinct blog postings.

Patty Osborne, a reg­u­lar con­trib­u­tor to Geist’s Endnotes sec­tion, will lead par­tic­i­pants through the process of focus­ing on what needs to be said and the best way to say it.

Bring a book you want to review, a pen or pen­cil and a pad of paper. By the end of the work­shop you will have writ­ten a short review!
