Daniel Francis Interview

Daniel Francis

Daniel Francis recently spoke to Joseph Planta from THECOMMENTARY.ca about his book, Red Light Neon: A History of Vancouver’s Sex Trade (Subway, 2007). Listen here.

Introduction by Joseph Planta:

How much hypocrisy is there surrounding prostitution in Vancouver? What have the police and politicians done? How is it impacting life in the city? We’ll attempt to answer these questions and more, including how the Pickton Trial makes for a sad chapter in the history of the sex trade in Vancouver, and the city itself. It’s a fascinating book on a less than comfortable subject.
