Want to learn more about the mag­a­zine and publishing indus­tries? Why not vol­un­teer or intern at Geist? All you need is energy, enthu­si­asm and a com­mit­ment of at least 4 hours per week dur­ing reg­u­lar busi­ness hours.

Volunteers help with admin­is­tra­tive tasks, includ­ing data entry, stuff­ing envelopes, mail­ing mag­a­zines, and what­ever else comes up. They also help out at events and work­shops (and attend for free!). Email your resume and cover letter to geist@geist.com to apply.

Interns work 12 or 20 hours per week on spe­cific projects and office tasks. Interns receive an introduction to all aspects of magazine publishing, including editorial, production, circulation, marketing and design. Note that this is not an editorial internship. Apply today.

Web Interns work 12 or 20 hours per week on spe­cific web projects and online tasks. Web interns contribute to online editorial, design, production and marketing. Candidates are expected to have working knowledge of web publishing platforms and be passionate about online publishing (we are!). Apply today.
