We’re chillin’ at Jericho Beach this weekend—well, more specifically the Vancouver Folk Music Festival. Come hang out with us while we sip some iced tea and eat some chocolate-covered bananas. Oh yeah, we’ll be doing some real work too—selling magazines and subscriptions, and collecting signatures for our petition to support folk music hero Stan Rogers for the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame.
If you purchase anything from our booth or sign up for our e-newsletter, you’ll get a free Geist magnet, featuring artwork by Rebecca Dolen from the cover of the summer issue, Geist 73, which hits newsstands this week.
Last year we had a blast at the festival, hanging out with readers and befriending you all; some of you even became Geist volunteers afterwards.
