Reading this poem is like watching a youtube clip of Glenn Gould playing: it's full of rhythm and movement and at the end Gould comes out of the music to ask the question "did I sing?"

On Tuesday, October 19 Kate Braid will be reading at La Fontana Caffee (3701 East Hastings), 8:00 p.m. She will be accompanied by jazz bassist Clyde Reed and the warmup act will be an open mic for which the sign-up is at 7:30.
This is part of the Spoken Ink reading series which is sponsored by Burnaby Writers’ Society and League of Canadian Poets.
