I agree with you about generally avoiding things with the Big O stamp of approval (in addition to books picked by Heather). Based on your review, the movie stayed true to the book, but I will have to read it myself to confirm.

Why do you always write “such as” instead of the easier, quicker and more down-to-earth “like,” in a phrase with one or more examples?
