Avalon was you're first problem...

Thanks for the level headed thoughts - sometimes simple is complicated.

No Bottle Depot on BC can give you a refund for an Avalon Milk Bottle, the only way is to return to where you bought it. The only problem there is no grocery stores are accepting empty containers due to CV19 concerns at this time.

The Avalon Bottle has always been an enigma. I own 6 bottle depots in the Lower Mainland (960 Evan's Ave by Terminal is close to you) and see hundreds of these bottles at each location, abandoned by frustrated consumers.

Maybe there will be some light at the end of the tunnel as Milk products are being added to BC's Deposit regime at the end of the year.

In the meantime, the only one I know of who benefits by Avalon's faux $1 deposit is Avalon.

Avalon returns

Why would I go to a bottle depot when I can return them so easily to Whole Foods when I go back for groceries? Avalon wants them back, cheaper for them to refill.
