Kate Braid has authored many books of non-fiction and award-winning poetry including Inward to the Bones: Georgia O’Keeffe’s Journey with Emily Carr (Polestar, 2000), which won the Vancity Book Prize. Braid has taught creative writing at UBC, SFU and Malaspina University-College. She currently lives in Burnaby.
