Constance Brissenden is a writer, editor and teacher, author of many books of history and travel. She and her partner, Larry Loyie, have worked together for twenty years. In 1993, they founded Living Traditions Writers Group (firstnationswriter.com) to encourage writing in Aboriginal and other communities. Their recent projects include Loyie's Goodbye Buffalo Bay (Theytus Books) and Brissenden's Vancouver: A Pictorial Celebration (Sterling).
