Simon Brousseau lives in Montréal and teaches literature at Jean-de-Brébeuf College. Synapses, which is Brousseau’s first book, was published in French by Cheval d’août in 2016 and was a finalist for the 2017 Grand Prix du livre de Montréal and a finalist for the Governor General’s Award for Translation in 2019.
