VIFF: Altitude

Altitude is not a scary movie. Or a believable one. I'm not spoiling anything if you go to the website--you don't even have to watch the trailer. But the movie succeeds in other areas: the youthful actors look good and can act (I would actually like to see them in a movie which offers better dialogue than, "Sarah, do something" on repeat); the movie has a slick but appealing style; and some sharp editing creates the claustrophobia of a small plane. If you enjoy B-movie disaster schlock, like me, this is an enjoyable 90 minutes.
