Zippy Reward for a Really Long Wait

And the gold medal goes to the Robson Square Zip Line for the longest wait to get the shortest reward. Granted, 170 metres of flight six stories above the Robson Street crowds does sound pretty rad.

It's just one more entertainment option for the hoards of real tourists suddenly in our city with enough time on their hands to wait in line for three hours for that 15-second ride.

Oh, and Premier Gordon Campbell did it.

Here's a shot of it at night.

The line is operated by the ecotourism company Ziptrek.
