S.I. Hassan is a writer and MFA student at the University of Victoria. Her essays, short stories and poetry have appeared in the Malahat Review, Arc Poetry, Prairie Fire, Dark Matter, Focus and other publications. She was short-listed for the Constance Rooke Prize in creative non-fiction and a finalist for a National Magazine Award in personal journalism.
