PuSh Festival: La Marea

Kris Rothstein

La Marea (The Tide) was performed

La Marea and that night Water Street was absolutely packed. It's nice to see people in Vancouver getting out to something this neat, even if it might be because it was free. The text and direction was done by Mariano Pensotti, an Argentinean-born writer and director and the show was adapted for the location and context with Vancouver's Boca del Lupo. This isn't the most amazing theatre I've ever seen and it did lack a little in substance. But it made up for this in its style and presentation.

No more performances but the PuSh Festival continues until February 6th so pick up a program or browse it online to find a show for you.
