Gregory Scofield's new book of poems is Native Canadiana (Polestar) and it's very good. So is Lola Lemire Tostevin's latest collection, Cartouches (Talonbooks), which came out last year and which we've been meaning to mention here ever since, along with Enchantment & Other Demons (Oolichan), a new collection by Ron Smith. It's hard to find snappy non-offensive one-liners for good poetry books, so instead here's an association list of three one-worders, one for each of them: Madrona, Môniyâs, Egypt.
